The way you tell your story can make all the difference.

What a difference a dollar can make.

It all begins with an idea.

An idea of bringing community and people together through play.

Keep the Lights On was a donation campaign established by theatres across Canada to help keep theatres open during COVID. When you are running a theatre in the absence of live audiences, you have to get creative to keep some form of momentum going. Valley Players Almonte held on as long as we could during those difficult times, but the effects have been long-lasting, causing our company to temporarily shut it’s doors. Until now. Now that theatres are able to open up to the public again, we are happy to announce …

We are back!

We have a brand new board and a renewed commitment to bringing live theatre back to Almonte and the Ottawa Valley.

We are grateful for all of the people who have been supporting live theatre in Almonte, through Valley Players and other community theatre productions, and we hope you are ready to return to our seats and our stages! We are hopeful we can continue to rely on the generous donations of our patrons and our community to light our lights again, and to keep them on!

Every dollar we generate from our shows goes right back into Valley Players Almonte theatre’s next production.

Ticket sales alone do not cover our expenses. We rely on the generous donations of people like you.

Please consider how you can support Valley Players Almonte and feel free to reach out with ideas and donations.
